Thanks to Kate and Tony M for having me in today on their drive time radio program THE LIST on Brisbane's 4ZZZ 102.1fm today.

I was in to plug my upcoming gig at the Globe in the Valley on Thursday playing a different set than usual.  I played 80's classic "Girls just wanna have fun" by Cyndi Lauper.  Tony was a bit shocked when I told him what song I was going to play but after I started playing he seemed to really like.  Kate even went on to remark it was one of her top three live experiences on radio!  That includes John Butler playing a 45 minute set!

 

We went on to have more of a chat and played the title track "Satellites". Tony really liked this song having never heard it before.  We then went to on to chat some more on air and then Kate and Tony decided to play "Everytime" as well.  Tony loved this track as well and went on to say the production of the record sounded like a cross between Phil Spector and George Martin type!
